Help preserve the heritage of Los Angeles. The Angeleno Heights Trolley Line, Inc. is a nonprofit public benefit corporation of the State of California organized to reestablish trolley service throughout the historic district of Angeleno Heights and its surrounding area. The group's mission is to raise funds to restore the original Birney #1030 trolley car that ran the Angeleno Heights route from 1920-1946. The body needs some light carpentry work, new windows and a canvas roof. The interior will need aesthetic refinishing of the woodwork. The implementation of the trolley line is entirely dependent upon community contributions. The generosity of neighborhood residents and businesses is essential to the restoration of an important part of our history. All donations are tax deductible. We accept credit card payments through PayPal (click the headline link below) or you can send a check to us in one of these suggested amounts (or any amount of your choosing): $20 encourager, $50 supporter, $100 fan, $500 friend, $1000 partner Donate now with PayPal—CLICK HERE. Or send a check through the post made payable to: Angeleno Heights Trolley Line, Inc. Our trolley committee is always looking for eager helpers.
